Positive: A happy stay for us! We had to reject our first booking at the Spanish Suites upon arrival — we'd been totally fooled by their photos on booking.com, so quickly booked the Shire and they greeted us an hour later. Only 8 rooms at The Shire, all on the 1st floor, all exactly as presented online and tastefully decorated. Super clean, super welcoming, perfect AC, plenty of space, perfectly quiet and restful, and a very useful location for getting around Rome.
