Ancient Trullo of Salento over the sea of Pescoluse, Salento. Panoramic views. | House in Pescoluse Di Salve
2 Bedroom House in Marina di Pescoluse, Pescoluse Di Salve
This vacation home is located on a hill above the long sandy beaches of Pescoluse, also called "Maldive del Salento", in a large private olive grove. The views of the sea and the beautiful sunsets are unique from there. The location is particularly quiet and airy, and even in midsummer. You can reach the beaches in about five minutes by car. In the area there is no noise as of pizzerias, bars, lines of cars, mopeds and pedestrians, which is not so common in Italy near the sea. Pescoluse is situated between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of the boot heel on the Ionian Sea. With a floor space of about 35 m² inside this special holiday rental disposes of a living area with a sleeping area on the wooden mezzanine over it, directly under the characteristic stone dome. Air conditioning is on disposal. In the outdoor area of about 40 mq you find a covered kitchen, a bathroom and a large parking lot. The living room is furnished with a TV area, satellite TV and a double sofa bed and a sofa bed for one person. A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area on the wooden plane with a double bed, 160 X 190, just under the suggestive stone dome. The kitchen dispose of a gas stove, refrigerator, dish-washer, coffee maker, filter coffee maker, microwave and toaster. In addition to the kitchen are a table and chairs. Next there is a bath-room with a toilet, a sink, a shower and a washing machine. According to the law the bathroom had to be built outside. The entire outdoor area is well lit during the night. A solar energy system produces much hot water. The trullo has WIFI (free). The building and the installation comply with the security measures and one runs no risk during normal use of household appliances and other devices. The apartment is handed over with bed- and bath linens with weekly change. A cot and highchair are available on request for free. On request the owner tries to satisfy other needs of the children if there is a possibility to do so. Pets are welcome and are admitted free of charge. The Salentine TRULLI belong to the traditional landscape and are now listed. Our TRULLO is a stately building and has been restored carefully in 2013 respecting the tradition. In the past this kind of building was used commonly as a dandruff or as a shelter by the farmers in certain periods of the year. The thick old stone walls are a natural isolation from the outside temperature, both in winter and in summer mainly. The trulli are old buildings with charm and unit tradition and modernity. They are an accommodation for lovers of peace and tranquility, good taste combined with a strong desire of originality. They are ideal for those who love something special in an atmosphere of other times but without having to sacrifice modern comfort and enjoying the beautiful view of the bright blue sea and the typical landscape of Salento. But remember that the liama is an ancient stone building, surrounded by nature, and that consequently it can not have the same characteristics and the same comfort as a modern city apartment. In the beach resort Pescoluse there are beach cafès, restaurants and some small shops. Supermarkets are located in Salve, about 3 km, and in Presicce. You can also find there pharmacies, banks, a post office, cafès, restaurants and other shops. In the next resort of Torre Vado, about 1.5 km from Pescoluse, there are a pharmacy, small grocery stores and a fish shop. Behind the beaches begin the olive groves on the hills, which also provide a good opportunity for walking and cycling. Even small towns often have a local center with small architectural gems. A visit to Santa Maria di Leuca (old mansions), Gallipoli (La Bella - the beautiful), Lecce (baroque town), Otranto is recommended. The Salento, also Salentine peninsula, is a subregion of Italy in the southern part of Puglia, between the Ionian Sea to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east. The inhabitants of this area differ from the rest of the Puglia region due to cultural and linguistic differences. From a historical point of view the Salento has heard over several centuries to the ancient Terra d'Otranto. One can find a particular landscape, architecture and gastronomy here. The Salento is of course ideal for a beach holiday in the long summer, but also much more, and not only in summer.
