Summary: The staff is stellar! The receptionists & concierges were friendly & informative, as in the rooftop restaurant. All were kind, helping with my walker on the few front steps (this is an accessible property, with a wheelchair side entrance & some handicap-equipped rooms. The room had a view of antiquities across the street; neighborhood is peppered with ruins lit at night. Magical. Short walk across the Tiber to Trastevere. Walking distance to the Coliseum, Circus Maximus, etc. Spotless. Quirky fun: a room with an orange pool table; library with art books & a touch of Disney decor; 2 well-behaved dogs. Did not have a chance to use the fitness center downstairs. Excellent breakfast service. Convenient (half hour drive) to Fiumicino Airport. Highly recommend.
